Director of Curriculum (Middle/Secondary Education)

Length of Employment:  240 days

Salary Range:  $74,202 - $92,462

 

 The deadline for the receipt of the complete application packet in the superintendent's office for the above-listed positions has been set at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, July 1 2019.  Any applications received after this deadline will not be considered.  The application packet must  be submitted to me (Louis Voiron, Jr., Superintendent of Schools, P. O. Box 879, Thibodaux, LA 70302) in an envelope marked "Application for Administrative Position" and shall contain the following:  (1) Application for Administrative Position; (2) resume; (3) copy of applicant's latest teaching certificate (or letter from the Louisiana Department of Education verifying eligibility for certification as a district administrator); (4) copies of applicant's last two years' evaluation for the position presently held; and (5) Release of Information Form (titled Request for Information on Present/Former School Employee) completed by the central office staff member who is the supervisor of personnel -- required if the applicant is presently employed or was previously employed by another district.

Fletcher Technical Community College and Career Magnet Center have added another partnership! In addition to CMC's current FTCC dual enrollment programs in Allied Health, Automotive Technology, Certified Nursing Assistant, Electricity, Integrated Production Technology, and Welding, we can now boast a DE Marine Diesel Engine Technician Program for the 2019-2020 school year! FTCC Chancellor, Kristine Strickland and LPSD Superintendent, Dr. Louis Voiron signed the agreement.

St. Charles Elementary has been nominated by Louisiana to join the esteemed community of National Blue Ribbon Schools.
National Blue Ribbon Schools are public and non-public elementary, middle, and high schools that are producing outstanding results for all students. They have demonstrated consistent excellence, and made progress in closing gaps in student achievement. The National Blue Ribbon Schools recognition program is part of a larger U. S. Department of Education effort to identify and disseminate knowledge about effective school leadership and promising instructional practices.
