The Lafourche Parish School Board is accepting applications for membership on the Special Education Advisory Council.

During the 2023-2024 school year, Lafourche Parish School District will update its operational plan to reflect the current Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and Louisiana Department of Health guidelines for K - 12 schools. We will continue to implement measures to ensure the safety of all employees, students, and families. Based on information provided to us by the LDOE, CDC, LDH, and applicable federal, state, and local agencies, these plans may be revised and amended as needed.

In accordance with BESE policy, Lafourche Parish School District has developed the following continuous learning plan for modified operations during incidents of school closure. Keeping the safety of our school community in mind, Lafourche Parish Schools will provide access to continuous high quality instruction to limit the effects of unfinished learning during any incidents of modified school operations.
