🎉Congratulations to Alaina LeBlanc and Lisa Boudreaux, who were both honored at the 19th Annual Cecil J. Picard Educator Excellence Awards Gala on July 26! This inspiring event, held at the National World War II Museum in New Orleans, celebrates the brightest stars in education from across Louisiana.
Alaina, who is entering her second year with LPSD as a teacher at Bayou Blue Upper Elementary, was honored as a finalist in the Louisiana Department of Education’s New Teacher of the Year program. Lisa, the exceptional principal of Raceland Upper Elementary School, was recognized as a state Principal of the Year semifinalist.
